New date for City Indoor Rowing Champs

The Lord Mayor of London’s City Indoor Rowing Championships will now take place on Wednesday 25 April, between 6pm and 10:30pm.

The event had originally been scheduled for February, and forms part of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal 2012 Fit for the Future campaign.

Teams of five rowers will be set a fundraising target of £5,000 each, taking on City professionals and rowing crews in the iconic surrounds of The Guildhall.

Competitors will row 2000m relays in Elite, Men’s, Mixed, and Women’s events, with ‘money can’t buy’ prizes on offer to the overall winners of each category.

Spaces for this one-off event are extremely limited, so interested teams should contact [email protected] or call 020 7618 1728 as soon as possible.

Two rowing charities will benefit from this year’s Lord Mayor’s Appeal – London Youth Rowing and The Rowing Foundation.
