Go Row Indoor Schools British Rowing has teamed up with education experts to deliver the Go Row Indoor Schools programme The programme includes a set of resources carefully crafted to give teachers everything they need to teach indoor rowing, from basic technique videos and tutorials through to lesson plans, student guidance and advanced training techniques. All of the programme’s free-to-use resources are linked to the Physical Education National Curriculum, and include School Games resources, virtual challenges, case studies and good news stories. These resources, and more, are available for free at schools.britishrowing.org. School Games Organiser And Event Support British Rowing is invested in secondary education and has the expertise to support innovative event delivery across England and the School Games Programme. It is our aim that rowing – especially indoor rowing – becomes a staple of British Physical Education for Key Stage 3 and 4 students around the country. If you are a School Games Organiser or a school looking to deliver indoor rowing events from September, we are here to help. With the recent changes to how school sport will be delivered under the new government guidelines and the current restrictions, indoor rowing can still be the perfect sport option to deliver with your students either new to the sport or experienced. With the capability to easily connect your machines, set up online races, challenges, and deliver events remotely, we can help young people participate virtually against other schools both local and nationwide.
