Reporting a Concern
We would like to reemphasise the importance of reporting safeguarding concerns to your Club Welfare Officer, and to the British Rowing Safeguarding & Integrity team. We can then advise and support you appropriately.
All reports should be made by using our Report a Concern Form. If you are unsure about anything to do with reporting a concern please contact us at [email protected].
Disciplinary & Grievance
Code of Conduct
Please remember that anyone who is involved in the sport of rowing in England, or represents Great Britain is subject to and bound by the Code of Conduct.
Misconduct should be reported and dealt with in accordance with the British Rowing Disciplinary & Grievance Regulations, including the Club & Regional Disputes Guidance (Appendix 4).
We strongly encourage clubs to regularly review their constitutions and policies to ensure that they are fit for purpose. It is a requirement that clubs maintain policies that comply with these guidelines.

Hay Fever
A note from UK Anti-Doping: With pollen levels set to rise as the weather (hopefully!) gets warmer soon, we are reminding athletes to check the anti-doping status of their hay fever medication prior to use. Here are some useful tips on checking medication:
- Check the anti-doping status of the medication using Global Drug Reference Online (Global DRO)
- Keep a copy of the search result for your own records
- Annual changes to the Prohibited List come into effect each year on 1 January, so make sure to re-check all medication even if you checked it last year
If you are unable to find the medication you are searching for on Global DRO, you should contact UKAD to find out its anti-doping status by sending an email to [email protected].
