British Rowing J16 Camp moves online

With COVID-19 restrictions affecting our ability to run our J16 Camp as normal, we’re taking the camp online and opening the camp up to all J16 rowers and their coaches

Each year, British Rowing runs a crew camp for Junior-16 rowers* (J16) to provide an opportunity for athletes and their coaches to come together and experience a GB Rowing Team training camp. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to run the camp in person but will be taking the camp online and opening it up to J16 rowers across Great Britain.

The focus of the camp is ‘Understanding the requirements for personal success’ and during their time on the camp rowers and coaches get the opportunity to hear from GB Junior & England Talent Pathway coaches, physios, UKAD educators and other experienced club and school coaches.

The camp will take place on the afternoon of Saturday, 3 April and is open to any J16 rowers (you just need to be a British Rowing, Welsh Rowing or Scottish Rowing member). We’re not leaving coaches out either and we’ll be hosting an opportunity to get together and share experiences on the evening of Thursday, 25 March.
