British Rowing is committed to making rowing an inclusive and diverse sport that welcomes and has an offer for everyone. This commitment will be at the heart of our updated national strategy and detailed in our Committed to Inclusion plan both of which are due to be announced in the coming weeks.

As part of this work, we need to understand where we are now in terms of our diversity, who is missing from our sport and importantly why. We are embarking on a comprehensive study to understand how rowing is perceived and the challenges that we will face in order to make rowing a sport for everyone, no matter what their background. This study will consist of measuring what the sport is like now and also follow-up interviews to understand some of these views and perspectives from around rowing and beyond.

In order to do this, we need your help. You are part of our sport and as such, we want to understand your views. Please follow the link below to complete a survey that is 100% anonymous and should only take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Take part in the survey

If you wish to participate in any follow-up interviews then please let us know by dropping an email to [email protected]. The survey will close on 18 March so please complete it as soon as you are able to.
