British Rowing is supporting the National Safeguarding Adults Network’s inaugural National Safeguarding Adults Week which which runs from 19-25 November.

Led by the Ann Craft Trust, which works to protect children and adults with disabilities from risk, the Network includes members from Sense, Choice Support, Dimensions, Ann Craft Trust and other leading charities. It have produced a range of resources to help raise awareness of key issues facing adults at risk which British Rowing will be sharing across its channels over the next seven days.

We are also encouraging all clubs to show their support for the campaign by downloading their own National Safeguarding Adults Week poster and engaging with the resources which we will share on social media throughout the week.

Laura Fieldman, British Rowing’s Lead Safeguarding and Equity Officer, said: “British Rowing is committed to promoting and prioritising the safety and wellbeing of all adults who come into contact with rowing.
