Glover and Stanning safely through to world cup semis

Helen Glover and Heather Stanning topped the time-sheet in their heat of the women’s pair at the world cup in Aiguebelette this morning.

In sparkling sunshine and rowing on flat-calm water the duo were over seven seconds ahead of their nearest challengers in the time-trial format being used here somewhat unusually.
