Has your Club renewed its EA Boat Registrations?

The current Environment Agency (EA) registration period comes to an end on 31st March 2013. Clubs can purchase their registrations for the 1st April 2013 – 31st March 2014 period via Club Management – your Club Management Administrator (or a deputy appointed by your administrator) will have to access this.

For a reminder of which rivers are managed by the EA and the events held on EA waters please see: https://www.britishrowing.org/sites/default/files/pages/15516/Map%20of%20EA%20waters%20new%20regions.pdf.

For more information on how to make your club’s application and full details of the scheme please see: https://www.britishrowing.org/clubs/ea-boat-registration.

Any boats that are used on EA waters without a current valid EA registration will be liable for the normal penalties applied by EA for unregistered boats.

Temporary Registrations

Non-EA based clubs may prefer to purchase Temporary Registrations direct from the Environment Agency. A one to six day continuous registration is priced at around £8, for more information please see the EA website: http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/recreation/129910.aspx.

Some events, where preferred by the event organisers, may purchase visitor registrations en bloc from the EA. If in doubt please check with the event you intend to enter.
