Club Leaders Learning Bus to visit DJRC

We’re delighted to announce that Sport England’s Club Leaders Learning Bus is heading to Eton Dorney on October 20/21 for the Diamond Jubilee Rowing Championships.

The double-decker bus will provide support and advice for people involved in the running of their rowing club, as well as offering tips to help make the running of our clubs easier and more efficient.

The bus will be at Eton Dorney from 7am to 4.30pm on both the Saturday and Sunday of the Championships, and will also showcase the many free services available through Sport England and Lottery funding as part of the Places People Play Olympic Legacy programme.

“We asked the people who run clubs what they needed most, and their advice has guided every aspect of the Club Leaders offer: simple, flexible training and advice, delivered locally, and completely free,” said Sport England Chief Executive Jennie Price. “They are the unsung heroes of grassroots sport, and I am delighted we are able to offer them support as part of the legacy of London 2012.”
