Get Involved at London 2012
Got a ticket to the London 2012? Stop by the Get Involved tent to race on indoor rowing and canoeing machines!
British Rowing and the British Canoe Union staff have been putting hundreds of people through their paces over the first two days of action at Eton Dorney, with experienced rowers and complete novices taking part.
Racing is fast and furious, with up to four people racing at a time and big screens showing a virtual representation of each race.
“It was fun,” said Sophie from London, who took on her Mum and brother in one indoor rowing grudge match. “I’m tired now though!”
If you’ve got a ticket to Eton Dorney and feel inspired to race yourself, the Get Involved tent
will be open throughout the London 2012 Rowing and Canoeing events.
