Adaptive juniors shine in Plymouth

[newsimage=0]On Tuesday 21st February, four schools came together for an Indoor Rowing competition at Woodlands School, Plymouth, as part of the new School Games scheme Project Ability.

Special Educational Needs pupils from Hele’s, All Saints, Woodlands and Mill Ford schools competed in two three-minute seeding races before battling it out in the seeded finals for a winners medal.

The finals saw some epic racing, especially in the final 30 seconds as each rower sprinted for the finish line.

A couple of well-timed sprints saw Brandon from Woodlands and Joe from Mill Ford both snatch victory in their respective finals.

A full list of results can be found on the Devon Adaptive Rowing website, and pictures from the event can be found at www.plymouthssp.co.uk.
