The younger age groups (J11-J13) competed over 1400m while the older juniors were racing over 1900m. The Ross juniors were up against crews from other clubs in the West Midlands and from as far afield as Milton Keynes and Cardiff.ADVERT Ross juniors competed magnificently in all their events, returning home with eight gold medals, eight silver and six bronze – despite many of the younger rowers competing in Head racing for the first time in their young careers. Ian Howell, Ross Junior’s Head Coach said he was “immensely proud of the efforts of all of our junior rowers today. They showed great spirit and no little skill and also had a lot of fun”.
