City of Oxford Rowing Club gears up for Isis Sculls

 

City of Oxford Rowing Club is preparing to host its flagship
sculling event this weekend – the Isis Sculls.

The Head Race – which takes place this Saturday 24 September
– covers multiple divisions and classes of sculling over an 1850m course on the
river Isis in Oxford, from the Bourne Stone to the Cox Stone.

Racing is offered in four divisions – Junior, Senior,
Adaptive, and Masters – and in all classes of sculls, including 1x, 2x, 4x, and
4x+.

The 2011 event gets underway at 10.30am, with races in the
four different categories also scheduled to get underway at 12.30pm, 2.30pm,
and 4.30pm.
