Calling young rowers in London!
London Youth Rowing is seeking young beginner rowers to attend their first ever Summer Rowing Course at the University of London Boathouse in Hounslow.
LYR have been running their ever-popular Summer Rowing Courses in East and West London for years, but August 2011 will be the first time that the picturesque UL Boathouse at Chiswick Bridge has hosted a course.
Courses run from the 8th-12th and 15th-19th of August, and cost £30 per child for an action-packed introduction to one of the UK’s most successful Olympic sports.
Sessions run from 10am-12pm or 1-3pm Monday to Thursday, with a wild race day, prize-giving ceremony, and a big barbecue on the Friday.
No previous experience of rowing is necessary.
