Explore Rowing heads to Christchurch

It’s going to be ‘rock and roll’ rowing all the way to the Needles this weekend as Explore Rowing’s Summer Series gets underway on the south coast.

Olympian Guin Batten is amongst those who have signed up to participate and Greg Searle and Pete Reed, both busy training for their first World Cup in Munich, took time this week to say good luck to all those taking part.

The racing takes place from Hengistbury Head Outdoor Centre in Christchurch, along the coastline to Keyhaven and then across to the Needles and back.  A gruelling 30 km – not for the faint-hearted!

Don’t worry if you’ve missed out on this event, there are four more challenges in the Summer Series coming up.  Find out more from www.explorerowing.org/summer
