British Rowing has launched its inaugural Corporate Challenge.  If you’re working in the City this is a unique opportunity to get your colleagues into rowing, do some team building, and pit yourselves against other companies. All right on your doorstep!

Everyone who signs up will have four sessions of 90 minutes training before competing at British Rowing’s Corporate Regatta on Friday, 15th July at London Regatta Centre, Docklands. Sessions will be run on Mondays at 6.00 and 7.30pm and on Fridays at 5.00 and 6.30 pm.  Racing will be in stable doubles and coxed quads.

Rowing is the ultimate team sport, to go from learning to racing in just four weeks will take dedication, stamina and skill. Current, lapsed and complete beginners are welcome – no experience necessary.

There’ll be support and encouragement throughout the training and Regatta by Olympic Gold Medallist, Rowley Douglas MBE, who coxed the men’s eight to Olympic victory at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Funds raised will go towards supporting London Youth Rowing, a charitable organisation that delivers fitness and rowing initiatives to young people from all walks of life across London.
