Will Homer aims for World Record

University of Southampton student, Will Homer, is aiming to break the World Record for the 20-29 lightweight category for a 24 hour ergo row. Sponsored by Maximuscle, Will is due to set off at midday on the 23 March in the
Southampton University Students Union.

The current record was set by Jonathon McAvoy, Nottingham, England a month ago standing at 263,396m which is over 20,000m more than the previous record. The challenge is also raising money for the male cancer charity, Orchid.

At his link www.facebook.com/rowing24h there will be a live blog on the day of the challenge and a link to a webcam feed for anybody who wishes to follow him.
