Nestled in a small town in the Northwest of Ireland is the Carrick-on-Shannon Rowing Club. Ireland’s oldest rowing club. This year the club proudly celebrates 175 years in existence and is inviting crews from all over the world to help mark the occasion by attending the Clubs’ annual Regatta on Sunday 31st July.

The regatta is renowned for its fun and friendliness, with a 400 metre course situated in the middle of Carrick and the finish line just before the bridge. As in years passed there will be a Ball held on the evening of the Regatta, in the Dock Arts Centre (the old Courthouse).
