GB Rowing Team’s Bateman and Wells feature in World Olympic Dreams programme

Fans of rowing might want to tune into BBC 2 on Monday 14 February at 1pm to see the first screening of a programme about Iraqi rowers Haider Rashid and Hamza Hussein.

The World Olympic Dreams series, presented by Sir Matthew Pinsent, follows the rowers as they train on the Tigris – Sir Matthew even gets in a boat with them – and compares and contrasts their lives with a day in the life of Matthew Wells and Marcus Bateman.  Britain’s Red Express won world silver in the men’s double scull last year
