Chris Anton gains FISA qualification

Tune in to BBC 2 at 8.00 pm on Friday evening, 3rd December, to support British Rowing’s Chris Anton as he takes part in this week’s ‘Mastermind’.

Chris, who still finds time to cox for his club in Birmingham, is a long-serving volunteer and Divisional Representative for the West Midlands.  Last year after a set of rigorous exams he achieved his FISA Umpire status, gaining his place as one of GB’s exclusive band of international umpires.

Chris clearly enjoys a challenge and we wish him the very best of luck on Friday.

More details from the BBC website

We’re guessing his specialist subject could be Henley Royal Regatta!
