Beth Rodford wins Gloucestershire Sports Personality of the Year Award

Beth Rodford receives Gloucestershire Sports Personality of the Year 2010

Congratulations to GB Rower Beth Rodford who was recently awarded Gloucestershire Sports Personality of the Year 2010.

Rodford, 27, from Gloucester, was a gold-medal winner at the World
Championships in the women’s quadruple scull in New Zealand this month.
The former Ribston Hall High School pupil went to Beijing for the
Olympics in 2008 and narrowly missed out on an Olympic medal coming
fifth in the Womens eight.

The Gloucester Rowing Club proudly attended the Gloucester Media Sports Awards held on 24 November 2010 and were delighted with the announcement of Beth’s achievement.

Beth is featured in the picture with her brother Ben, current Captain of Gloucester Rowing Club.

Congratulations Beth!
