CCPR Sports Club of the Year

There’s still time to apply for the CCPR Sports Club of the Year (SCOTY).

Sponsored by the Foundation for Sport and the Arts and Runningsports, SCOTY recognises the significant contribution of sport and recreation clubs at a grassroots level.  The CCPR distributes over £15,000 to six clubs, with the ultimate winner claiming £6,000 and bespoke training courses. Two second prizes of £3,000 and three third prizes of £1,000 are also up for grabs.

Once again Runningsports is also sponsoring a University Sports Club of the Year and British Rowing is able to put forward two nominations in that category. 
 
Ryde Rowing Club scooped the coveted first prize in 2007 which was presented to club members by Sir Bobby Charlton, CBE.  Don’t miss out, it could be your club’s turn this year.

Clubs wishing to be nominated for this award should:

All nominations from British Rowing clubs should be sent to Rory Semple, to arrive no later than 9.00am on Monday 15th February.
