GB ranked 2nd at the European Universities Sports Association Regatta

GB’s student squad have returned from the European Universities Sports Association (EUSA) Regatta with an impressive 11 podium positions: 1 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze.

The team, formed of 97 athletes from 18 different university pushed themselves up the overall rankings into second place in the rankings, behind the Polish hosts. Last year, the team came 4th in the rankings. The increase in depth this year has seen the British Universities team rise up to second place with even more determination to reclaim the EUSA Salver when the regatta moves to Amsterdam in 2010.
