GB Rowing’s International Manager nominated for city sports award
James Cracknell and David Tanner are among the nominees in the Square Mile Sport Awards 2008. Voting has now opened giving the executives in the City of London the opportunity to be the first to name their favourite sporting heroes and moments of the last twelve months.
The City chooses from nominated shortlists in six categories – Young Sportsperson of the Year, Panasonic Sports Leader of the Year, Toughest Sportsperson of the Year, Sports Team of the Year, ICAP Sportsperson of the Year, and The Betfair Sporting Moment of the Year.
The nominees were chosen by the Square Mile Sport Awards’ judging panel chaired by former England rugby star Will Greenwood and comprising of renowned British sport stars Barry McGuigan, Sam Torrance, and Jonathan Edwards.
The winners of the Square Mile Sport Awards 2008 will be unveiled at a star-studded dinner on 27th November in central London.
