Want to test your rowing machine skills against some of the best indoor rowers in the world? The World Rowing Indoor Sprints competition is taking place in March and you can take part in your favourite surroundings.

All you have to do is race 1,000m at your club, school, gym or home between 10-12 March and log your time online with Concept2. The top three male and female times in each age category will be awarded a medal.

To add an extra element of competition, Concept2 is encouraging clubs and teams to compete against each other, before officially logging their times. Groups who submit 20 or more individual results from an event will be entered into a draw to win a new rowing machine for their facility.

It’s a competition for indoor rowers of all ages, from J12 to 80+, with nine age categories to enter. Lightweight categories will also be offered for ages 19 and above. Para-rowing classifications for men and women are also open for entries.
