Across the country, sports clubs are gearing up to celebrate Women’s Sports Week. The campaign, led by Women In Sport aims to raise awareness and increase participation of women from all backgrounds in sport and activity. Over 32,000 sessions are anticipated to run during the course of the week across a variety of sports.

The week provides an opportunity for clubs to showcase their female-friendly activities, with free resources available to help promote these. Women In Sport have launched a toolkit to help clubs develop their plans for the week. Don’t forget to tag your events on social media with #WSW2016.

British Rowing will be supporting the campaign by sharing news, activities and opportunities across our website and social media channels. Keep us informed of your club’s plans via email news@britishrowing, or tweet us @BritishRowing to share your activities.
