Safeguarding Refresher – Places Still Available!

Places are still available on British Rowing’s Safeguarding Refresher Day, on September 13th in Birmingham.

Whether you’re a Club Welfare Officer, a Club Chairman, a Junior Co-Ordinator, or anyone in a role with significant access or responsibility for young people, then we look forward to seeing you.

During the course of the day, a Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop will be delivered in the morning and a Time to listen workshop in the afternoon.

Over lunch you will have the opportunity to network with people from other clubs and share ideas and experiences. You will also get the opportunity to meet members of British Rowing’s Safeguarding Team.

Why should I attend?

  • Get a chance to network with other Safeguarding colleagues
  • Learn about British Rowing’s safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Understand my role and responsibilities
  • Recognise how these legal requirements will impact me
  • Enable me to support my club in creating and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for children

The Refresher Day will be held between 10am and 5pm at the Comfort Inn, Station Street, City Centre, Birmingham, B5 4DY. Bookings will be taken until Friday 5th September.
