The event was held at Winchester College and run by The Windsor Partnership, with support from British RowingADVERT The Year 7 boys’ event proved a tight battle – James Mclaugain (the Downs School) taking a great win by over 25 meters, but with the battle for second and third place split between five competitors, all of whom finished within 8m of each other. Donald Simbo (Langley) just held on from Marcus Watson (St Edwards) and Joseph Myers (The Piggot School) who tied for 3rd place. Freya Sendall (Theale Green School), racing in the Year 9 girls’ event, put in a great performance to finish over 55 meters ahead of second placed Mija Tomasik (Newlands Girls School). ADVERT
