Invictus Games celebrates 100 Days to Go

Monday marked 100 days to go until the inaugural Invictus Games in London – a multi-sport competition for wounded, sick and injured servicemen and women.

Prince Harry is set to open the Games on September 10, with indoor rowing events due to take place on the final day of the international event – Saturday 13th September.

“I’d like to wish the hundreds of Servicemen and women who have put their names forward for the Invictus Games the best of luck for the next 100 days,” said Prince Harry. “All the training and preparation will be worth it when they’re competing in front of the cheering crowds. I am looking forward to seeing them compete in September.”

The Games will take place at venues made famous at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 40,000 tickets for the event went on sale on May 16th, costing just £12.85 per person.
