Community Sport and Recreation Awards 2014
Is your club working hard to provide rowing opportunities for the local community? Are you working with schools to introduce rowing to the next generation of athletes?
Nominations are open for the 2014 Community Sport and Recreation Awards – the Sport and Recreation Alliance’s annual celebration of community sports clubs.
The Alliance is encouraging applications from community clubs in the following categories:
- Community Sport + Recreation Overall Winner
- Volunteer Management
- School Links
- Professional Club Community Programme of the Year Award
- Green Thinking
- Innovative Project Award
Winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony on July 9th at St James’s Palace, London, by HRH Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.
The overall winner will receive £2,500, with each category winner also receiving a £1,000 prize.
