If you are a Club Welfare Officer, a Club Chairman or a Junior Coordinator we hope you will take up this invaluable opportunity and we look forward to seeing you at one of the six venues around the country. You might also like to extend this invitation to anyone in your club who has a role with significant access to or responsibility for young people. The Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshop will be delivered in the morning, and the Time to Listen workshop delivered in the afternoon.ADVERT Over lunch you will have the opportunity to network with people from other clubs, share ideas and experiences and talk to British Rowing staff. Why should I attend? You will: Receive training from two of British Rowing’s expert tutors Have the chance to network with other Safeguarding colleagues Learn about British Rowing’s safeguarding policies and procedures Understand your role and its responsibilities Be helped to support your club in creating and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for children.
