Congratulations

All the rowers and staff at GB Rowing Team are delighted to hear that Anna and Oli Watkins have a new baby son called William James Watkins. He was born safely on Friday and both mum and baby are doing well. Anna won Olympic gold at London 2012 and bronze in Beijing in the women’s double scull as well as being a several-times World Champion in the same event. Given that new-born William was not a tiny baby, Anna has already joked that he might be “rower-size” when he grows up.
