Missing Oxford University oars

Four sets of near new Croker sculls went missing from the Oxford University Women’s Lightweight Rowing Club at Henley Women’s Regatta – can you help find them?

The oars – unpainted but clearly marked with the initials ‘OUWLRC’ in vinyl lettering – went missing from the Oxford trailer in the Regatta’s parking area.

If you have any information about their whereabouts, or if some new sculling blades have unexpectedly appeared at your boathouse, please leave a message (anonymously, if preferable) by voicemail on 01491 833129.

As it appears the thieves may be targeting rowing club trailers at regattas, clubs are advised to be extra vigilant and careful with their equipment.
