New venue for BUCS Head

BUCS has announced that this weekend’s 2013 BUCS Head will now take place at Boston Rowing Club in Lincolnshire.

Organisers were forced to cancel the annual race – one of the highlights of the student rowing calendar – last week, owing to inclement conditions expected at the original venue in Peterborough.

However, BUCS has today revealed that the Fours and Eights Head will now take place at Boston Rowing Club on the River Witham, host the GB Trials last weekend.

As originally scheduled, the beginner categories will take place on Saturday, with Championship and intermediate categories on Sunday – beginner crews racing over 3000m and all others over 5000m, both downstream.
