Saturday saw exciting competition at the Diamond Jubilee Rowing Championships as 2012 medallists Kat Copeland and Peter Chambers competed with their club crews to be national champion.

Sunday will see even more Olympians on the water when the eights and quad sculls events take place. There will be ten medal winners competing against each other in their club crews plus young rowers looking for selection into the GB squad for the next Olympiad.

Olympians on the water tomorrow will include Alex Gregory from the Gold winning men’s coxless 4, the Chambers brothers from the men’s lightweight 4 as well as George Nash, Sbihi Mohamed and Phelan Hill. There will also be a number of 2012 medallists coming along to support their clubs and sign autographs including Pete Reed and Greg Searle.

So come on down to Eton Dorney (SL4 6QP) and see the next generation competing. This fun day out is just £10 per car on the gate.
