No stopping for Minerva Bath junior

A 17 year old from Minerva Bath Rowing Club is taking on an innovative charity challenge in August, rowing 40km in a day using a range of different rowing boats.

On August 9th, Charlie Falkus (pictured, left) will row in a single, a double, a quad, a four, and an eight – rowing 4km sections in each until he reaches his 40km target.

Helped by other members of Minerva Bath RC, the teenager will only stop to switch boats and hopes to raise enough money for a trip to work in a Kenyan school for a year.

40% of the funds raised will also go directly to Turi Children’s Project – a local children’s charity in Kenya.
