SCT Scholarship Coaches: apply now!

Are you a student or recent graduate with a passion for rowing coaches? British Rowing, in partnership with the Stewards’ Charitable Trust, has opened the application process for its highly popular SCT Scholarship coaching positions.

Each year a number of scholarship opportunities are offered across the different British Rowing regions, allowing people to spend two years combining part-time coaching of young people with studying for a part-time sport-related postgraduate qualification.

If you are a student or recent graduate wishing to continue your academic studies whilst further developing your rowing coaching skills, then a two-year SCT Scholarship could be the perfect platform for you.

As part of the scholarship funding package, applicants receive a contribution towards their university course fees, travel costs whilst coaching, a living allowance and the use of a British Rowing laptop computer, as well as training and support from our Coaching and Development Team.

Applicants should enjoy working with young people of all ages and abilities and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Successful applicants will become part of British Rowing’s Regional teams, and work with and in local rowing clubs.
