Special schools from across the West Midlands came together at Calthorpe Specialist Sports College, Birmingham for an exciting day on the indoor rowing machines. Special Educational Needs pupils from Hallmoor, Chadsgrove, Braidwood, Baskerville, Calthorpe, Victoria, Fox Hollies, Priestly Smith and Riversides competed in individual races and there was some really close racing as the results show.ADVERT Race 1 – Charlotte Curley – only 4 metres between 1st and 2nd.Race 2 – Zaki Malick – only 6 metres between 1st and 2nd.Race 3 – Matthew Smallman Race 4 – Khurom Ali Race 5 – Daniel BownessRace 6 – Jason Lee Simpson – only 3 metres between 1st and 2nd.Race 7 – Harley Wareing – only 6 metres between 1st and 2nd.Race 8 – Alex Scarlett Race 9 – Scott Mitchell – only 9 metres between 1st and 2nd.Race 10 – Akeem Christie In the Row for Gold team relay of 2012 metres, the results were 1st Hallmoor2nd Riverside3rd Priestly Smith Everyone who took part received a medal, and three of the schools have taken away a signed GB flag.
