Wallingford Juniors win in London

Wallingford juniors headed down to London on Sunday for the Hammersmith Women’s and Junior’s Head.

The course is just under three miles long and raced from Chiswick Bridge to Hammersmith Bridge. The juniors raced well and finished with two wins, taking first place in J16A coxless quad and the women’s J14A coxed quad.

Elsewhere Leanne Reeves was at Boston over the weekend for GB Junior trials and came in 22nd of 64 girls in her single in very windy conditions but had a better scull on the Sunday with her doubles partner from Nottingham RC (Olivia Duckworth) and they finished 6th of the 25 doubles racing.
