Windsor Boys plan 48-hour charity rowing challenge

[newsimage=0]The Windsor Boys’ School Boat Club (WBSBC) are holding a 48-hour Ergo Challenge, raising money for the Institute of Cancer Research’s Everyman appeal and the boat club.

The event will take place at the Windsor Royal Shopping Centre from 3pm on December 22, finishing on Christmas Eve afternoon.

‘Thanks to charities like Everyman, our coach Mark Wilkinson – who was affected by cancer last year – is now fully recovered, and doing great,’ said WBSBC member Stephen Abraham.

‘By supporting Everyman, we can help to fun the world-leading work being done by scientists at the Institute of Cancer Research.’

‘The Windsor Boys’ School Boat Club is an organisation that means the world to its members and staff,’ he added, ‘so we will also be raising money for our New Boat Fund and to put towards a new boat house.’
