Nominate your Sports Parliamentarian of the Year

The Sports and Recreation Alliance are looking for the MP or Member of the House of Lords that most deserves recognition ‘for their efforts to promote and protect the interests of sport and recreation in 2011.’

If you or your club has benefitted from a particularly passionate MP, or if you think that a member of either house deserves to be singled out for championing a particular sporting campaign, then the SRA wants to hear from you.

Nominations from individuals and clubs are open until Friday 23 September, and a nomination form can be downloaded from the SRA website.

A panel will then announce a shortlist for recognition, and the winning Parliamentarian will receive their award at a presentation event in the House of Commons in December.
