Prescott (pictured above, left) claimed gold medals in the C2x and D2x, and mixed composite 2x and 4x, and also claimed 3rd and 5th-placed finish in her single sculls, and finished second in the women’s Scottish composite 4x.ADVERT The 2011 World Rowing Masters Regatta took place from 8th September – 11th September, with over 2503 boats from 37 nations taking part. The event was staged at the Lake Malta Regatta course – one of the most modern rowing venues in the world, which has also played host to the World Rowing Championships in 2009, the World Canoeing Championships, and has regularly hosted World Cup Rowing events. DARC took a strong contingent to Poland, entering 11 men’s crews and 13 women’s, with some members doubling up and others joining other British crews to for composite crews. ADVERT
