Volunteering England has introduced free membership for community organisations with an annual turnover of under £30,000.

In an effort to support the growing number of organisations that rely on volunteers, Volunteering England is providing free access to a range of support and resources. These include a wide range of online factsheets, access to advisers at the end of a phone, regular news and updates and discounts on specially selected partner services and products. The advice and information available to members covers every area of volunteering from help with the policy and legal requirements of managing volunteers to how to get involved with volunteering inspired by the 2012 Games, updates on the CRB checks, networking events, help with measuring impact of volunteering programmes and a great deal more.

Last year over 80,000 documents were downloaded from the Volunteering England website including good practice guides and information sheets. Volunteering England is the leading development agency for volunteering, and works across all sectors to increase the quality and quantity of volunteering. It has over 1,500 members across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
