BUCS Indoor Rowing series a great success
The 2010-11 season was the first time that PriceWaterhouseCooper’s Indoor Rowing regional rounds had been coordinated centrally by BUCS and, despite some local problems with the weather, it turned out to be a massive success.
Nearly 900 students competed, including GB trialists, registering some excellent times. The full story and results are now available from the BUCS website.
The top three individuals in each category will receive BUCS medals and the top four universities in each category will receive BUCS points.
BUCS are looking forward to staging an even more exciting competition in 2011 with events scheduled to take place between 19th November and 4th December. Details of how universities can ‘bid’ to host one of these events will be published by BUCS in due course.
