There is accommodation on the first floor of the centre with more outdoor areas and views of the surrounding area, which is available for respite care and residential stays. Early next year facilities will include a licensed bar, bistro, cafeteria, lodge accommodation, conference and social function suite, a range of watersports activities and a full programme of exciting activities for young and old alike. The opening was attended by Di Ellis CBE, British Rowing Chairman along with coaches and young people from nearby Merchant Taylors School Boat Club.
