Goring Gap Sponsored Row
Goring Gap BC will be taking to the water for their Sponsored Row this Sunday, 2nd August. They will be rowing from Wallingford, through Goring to Pangbourne in order to raise money for the Lymphona Association and in memory Jeff Cronyn.
The club raised over £4000 from their last sponsored row in 2007, but are aiming a little higher this time – £5000+.
The club aim to row non-stop, passing through 3 locks on the way, Cleeve, Goring and Pangbourne before reaching the finish line. Rowers from Maidenhead RC and Reading RC shall be joining Goring Gap on the row and any support from spectators on the riverbank will be very gratefully received.
