Henley town to sponsor Regatta fireworks

 

This year’s Henley Royal Regatta spectators won’t miss out on the annual firework display after all. 

The Henley Stewards had with much regret withdrawn support of the Saturday Fireworks’ Display following their concerns about an increase in drunken and potentially dangerous behaviour which culminated last year with the stabbing of a competitor on Regatta land.

The Copas Partnership, long time supporters of Henley Women’s Regatta, have now teamed up with Tesco to sponsor the display.
