Thousands of pounds of equipment stolen from club

Police are appealing for information after several thousands of pounds worth of equipment was stolen from the Tyne United Rowing Club in Blaydon.

Life jackets and rowing machines were just some of the items stolen from the rowing club earlier this month.

Police are asking that anyone with information about the theft or who may have been offered equipment matching those stolen contact officers on 03456 043 043 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
