Success for Staines Boat Club at Local Sports Awards

Congratulations to Staines Boat Club who won two awards and were runner up in one and highly commended in four of the other twelve categories at the Runnymede Awards 2008. Becki Corless won the Young Volunteer of the Year award and the J18 quad (Tom Ryan, James Kell, Nick Pollen & Rob Oades) won the Young Sports Team of the Year.
The club was runner up in Sports Club of the Year and was highly commended in Volunteer of the Year (Jeremy Pollen), Coach of the Year (Adam Gill), Outstanding Service to Sport (Ted Dyos) and Young Sports Personality of the Year (James Kell).
