Bestwood pupils shape up with rowing machines

Rowing machines are not traditionally associated with playground fun and games. But thanks to a pioneering scheme which takes the equipment into schools in deprived areas, children who don’t enjoy traditional team sports are finding that keeping fit can be fun whatever your shape, size or ability. "For some children the issue is peer pressure.
